Manager to join our team at Sundial Group in Northamptonshire. What You’ll Be Doing

As our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of the Sundial Group marketing strategy, focusing on inbound and digital marketing, CMS management, email marketing, budget management and graphic design.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and deliver marketing strategies with the marketing team, across the 4 Sundial businesses in line with the company objectives – adjusting campaigns and strategies in response to feedback
  • Managing the overall inbound marketing strategy, overseeing digital content generation
  • Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Setup and manage multiple email marketing campaigns adhering to the Sundial Group data privacy policy (GDPR)
  • Database management including segmenting and targeting for email marketing campaigns
  • Budget management – work within the department budget to develop cost effective marketing plans
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure all relevant businesses are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Closely monitor and analyse online data using Google Analytics, to report on campaign ROI
  • Plan and support marketing events and exhibitions
  • Graphic design – responsible for design and artwork for a wide range of marketing and promotional materials including brochures and leaflets. Maintain and manage relationships with printers including providing print ready artwork and signing off proofs
  • Actively oversee our presence on social networking sites
  • Manage relationships with PPC campaign managers – ensuring regularly reviewing and amending as necessary to ensure a good ROI
  • Update and maintain the Sundial websites on a regular basis using the content management system, liaising with various suppliers where necessary
  • Assist in the management and updating of external websites, directories and content
  • Liaising with the team to write effective copy for email marketing and collateral

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Digital marketing skills
  • Sound understanding of GDPR
  • HubSpot CRM and web CMS knowledge desirable
  • Understanding of SEO and PPC
  • Basic coding knowledge
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and skills in Adobe Creative Suite applications, including 
  • InDesign and Photoshop
  • Budget control
  • Excellent design skills, artistic ability and creative thinking along with knowledge of principles of good design / layout
  • Extremely organised with very strong attention to detail, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Terms and Conditions

  • Work 5 days out of 7 (Monday – Friday), 37.5 hours per week (excluding meal breaks) in line with the needs of the business
  • Visits to other Sundial Group venues, may be required including possible overnight stays
